What you’ll see when you hit a limit

A modal or banner appears with:

  • The feature that’s limited
  • Current usage vs limit
  • Upgrade button to Pro
  • Optional reset date (e.g., for monthly AI actions)

Common limit scenarios

"Seat limit reached"

  • Free allows 2 members. To add more, upgrade to Pro.
  • Remove a member or upgrade.

"AI actions limit reached"

  • You’ve used your monthly AI actions (e.g., task generation, agent queries).
  • Limit resets each month. Upgrade for more.

"Automation runs limit reached"

  • Board automations have run 250 times this month on Free.
  • Reduce automation frequency or upgrade.

"Integration limit reached"

  • Free allows 1 workspace integration (e.g., GitHub or Slack).
  • Disconnect one or upgrade to add more.

"Personal automations not available"

  • Personal automations require Pro.
  • Use board-level automations on Free, or upgrade.

How to resolve

  1. Upgrade — Click the upgrade prompt to go to billing.
  2. Reduce usage — Use fewer AI actions, automations, or integrations.
  3. Wait for reset — Monthly limits (e.g., AI) reset automatically.
